More on our Genting trip..

Wifey and me took the cable-car trip Genting-Awana-Genting, and we loved the shop called Country’s TidBits in Awana. They sell so many types of dried food and fruits and you just put as many as the food you want in a plastic, then it will be weighed on a weighing balance at the checkout counter.

Wifey even bought dried rose for MIL. Dried rose bah! Interesting leh..

Location? Genting bebeh!

This is what we see if nearing the hotel elevator: Lobby Cafe, cakes and sandwiches lined up!

Could not resist lah. We had to try some, especially the sandwiches! It is as if got led light bulbs on the cafe just calling out our attention to buy!

Eating the sandwich with coffee.. ahhhh

Wifey ordered sandwich also. But hers not as nice as mine lah.

The wifey punya special day is coming up lah!

I seriously do not know what to give her this year, and think punya think punya think, I know she loves music, give her a music relate gadget?

But we already agreed this year no need to give such extravagant gifts to each other, but she already broke this pact when she gave me a new handphone a few days ago! Tiba tiba bah! It is not even my birthday lagi!

Lucky or what

But okay. Back to the question lah. Since she loves music, and loves watching romantic movies, perhaps I could come up with like a performance for her and play the acoustic electric guitar?

She will be so touched.. confirm she cry one tu!

But the problem is, I only have a few days to learn how to play the guitar. Haha

And I know this site says they can prepare birthday flowers for mom, but I think wifey is also a mom bah! Just slightly different kind of mom lah!

But so what, she is still a ‘mother’ also bah! So that means I can also get her the flowers too kan?

Still thinking what else to get her for her birthday.. Ni lah ni.. too many choices! Semua pun mau bagi!

Gluttony got the better of me though because as soon as I finished my plate of pancakes, I ordered another plate, this time blueberry pancakes!

Tsk tsk!

Then she said she wanted to cook all my favourite dishes for dinner as my birthday present.

So fikir punya fikir punya fikir, I finally told her what I wanted to eat.

Here they are! Tadaa!

Steamed egg, herbal chicken thigh soup, steamed potatoes with butter, and oven baked chicken wings. (And a plate of vegetables, but wifey forgot to take a picture of it)

That is 5 dishes altogether! And she did this all on a working day summore! Imagine how many more dishes she could do if she on leave!

I cannot decide whether to go for wifey’s special oven baked chicken wings or her special fried chicken wings.. both are good! But I chose oven baked one because I love the gravy that comes with it.

I did not get some random birthday present like the wind spinner or something, but I definitely got something very meaningful: food cooked with wifey’s love.

The best present a husband can receive.
